Survival mode: Waves of enemy tanks are sent in to destroy you. As you destroy each wave, you will earn credits to upgrade your tank in order to increase your chances for survival. Upgrades include 3 additional weapon types: “spread cannon” which fires 3 missiles at a time (but they don’t ricochet), “heat seeker” which fires homing missiles, and “howitzer” which fires explosive shells that damage all nearby tanks (can be fired over walls).
Campaign mode: Predefined levels of enemy tanks challenge you to destroy them all. There are 5 different types of AI tanks that each have their own special abilities (e.g. speed, missile types, armor).
There are a few different control options to choose from. The default is set to swiping the screen to move and tapping to shoot. The longer you swipe the farther you will move. This setup makes it easy to move and fire at the same time, which definitely helps you survive. Other options include controlling tank movement with a virtual dpad or your Android device’s trackball (if it has one).
