LauncherPro Plus

Long the default launcher in VillainROM's Sense-free ROMs, Launcher Pro is a very popular choice of custom launcher, and rightly so. The main difference between its free and paid incarnations is the presence of some special “Launcher Pro Plus” widgets made by its developer, Fede. Ignoring these widgets for the time being, Launcher Pro offers the usual features of up to 7 homescreens, an overview of the homescreens upon pinch-zooming out and the ability to tweak the launcher significantly.

Performance overall is good, although with the advent of Ninpo's excellent tweaks to FroydVillain 1.5.0, the underlying operating system on the phone is ready before Launcher Pro has fully initialised. This manifests itself with a fully functioning homescreen, but with an unpopulated app drawer and some graphical glitches involving the app drawer icons and temporary screen redraw issues. Thankfully, these only occur immediately after boot, while the ROM is loading up and likely won't affect you as much with fewer apps.
