PowerAMP

PowerAMP Music Player supports mp3, mp4, m4a, flac, ogg, wav, tta, wma, ape, and wv file types. When you first download the app, you can choose which SD card folders you’d like to import into PowerAMP. The default Android media folder is automatically checked, but if you have other song files stored make sure to check the appropriate folder.

First off, you’re sure to be blown away by the incredibly sleek and sexy user-interface. The speed and responsiveness of the app is very impressive as well. On the main media player page, you’ll see the standard album artwork, control buttons (play, fwd, rwd), as well as options to shuffle or repeat songs.

The unique feature with this music player app is the 10 band graphic equalizer. You can play around with the settings yourself or use the preset settings to enhance formats like dance, rock, and techno. There are even dedicated dials for bass, treble, and volume. If you make adjustments that you don’t like, just hit the reset button to start over fresh.

Another welcomed feature is the ability to add the PowerAMP widget, not only to the homescreen, but to the lockscreen as well! Now you can have full control of your music without having to unlock your phone.
